The Carrier is needed to synchronize the signal between Radio Modules. Three Carriers can be linked for a total of 18 TransTalk sets (6 per Carrier).

- Each carrier supports from 1 to 6 radio units
- Provides AC power for all installed TransTalk radio units (radio transmitter AC adapters not required)
- Maximum single carrrier configuration: side by side install of 1 to 6 radio modules (Six 9031P units)
- Maximum single zone configuration (3 carriers): 6 radio modules maximum per carrier
- 18 radio modules maximum per system (eighteen TransTalk 9031P units)
